All are welcome, especially children and those with financial hardship. During these screenings, our licensed doctors provide an eye health assessment and if necessary, free recycled eyeglasses. The vision screening does not replace the comprehensive eye examination that you obtain through your doctor’s office. It does assess eye health concerns and provides a useable pair of recycled eyeglasses until professional services can be obtained on your own. California Lions Friends in Sight events are scheduled by the clubs in every district. Our volunteers are made of up Lions and non-lions who serve without financial compensation.

Upcoming Vision Screenings

March 11 – CLFIS Vision Screening – In Santa Ana, hosted by Santa Ana Lions, Tustin Lions and OC Central Lions

May 20 – CLFIS Vision Screening – In Pomona, Hosted by Pomona Host Lions and Chino Valley Lions

Click here for more events https://clfis.info/events/#:~:text=Facility%20coronavirus%20guidelines.-,DATE,8%3A00%20am,-Contact%20Us

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What services are provided at the vision screening?

Free doctor provided health assessment of the eye Free recycled eyeglasses for those who need them. Eyeglass, contact lens or medical prescriptions will not be written or given out at the vision screening. We do a free vision assessment and, if needed, match a screening refraction with recycled eyeglasses.

Can anyone come to the vision screening?

All individuals, especially children, who are unable to afford an eye doctor visit and eyeglasses can come to the vision screening.
